Duke has been adopted! 01-15-2007
They are housebroken, superb with kids (even toddlers as you can see). Duke is the more laid back of the two, all he wants is to be a lap dog. He will follow you everywhere and would love to be in a home with another dog. Queenie is the more extroverted of the two. She loves to play ball, and is much more outgoing. Queenie has taken the role of patrolling the yard and will alert you if anyone or anything is around the property that does not belong. Duke on the other hand will wait until Queenie tells him there is someone in the property, then that’s when he gets up and starts alerting the household, otherwise he’d rather hangout on his bed and do the wait and see. They are both good with other dogs and crate trained. These two dogs are wonderfully mannered! Duke and Queenie are 4 years old. Duke is the black and tan and Queenie is the mostly black one. Duke and Queenie can be adopted together or seperately.
The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
