Lindy has been adopted! 01-20-2007

About 2 years old, gorgeous cream and black Lindy found herself homeless at New Year's and stuck in a loud and scary shelter. We made room for her to come join our group and now she is looking for her forever home. Lindy is very mellow and walks beautifully on a leash, even straight out of a kennel run. She is quite tall and imposing for a female - right now she weighs about 75 lbs and is underweight!

On Lindy's first visit to a vet's office, she was very calm even though other dogs were nervous nellies. She didn't react at all. When going for her photo shoot, she sniffed around a bit but then laid down quietly without much fuss. She is wonderful in the car too!

We are just getting to know Lindy - she seems very quiet and unassuming and gets along fine so far with other dogs.

The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
