Max has been adopted! 11-03-2007

Female about 0 old.

Max is about four years old. He lived in a back yard his whole life. Finally when Max's owner split, his roommate contacted us to help Max find a new home. We're more than glad to help, Max is very special. Besides being very very furry! Do you think someone could have brushed poor Max? If you're into knitting he might just have a way to help!

Update 6/10/06: Look at this handsome fellow! WOW, what a difference a simple bath can make! Now Mr. Max isnít overly thrilled with the bathing process (weíre guessing that this bath was the first of his life) but he canít argue with the results.

Max is very sweet and mellow. He perks up at the sight of a leash and we are guessing that daily walks will be very, very good for him! He does just fine with other dogs. He rides nicely in the car but it isnít his favorite activity.

We are so excited to help Max find his forever home Ė we love our before and after pictures along with our before and after stories about these guys! Max absolutely deserves the very, very best!

The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
