Magic has been adopted! 01-01-2007

Magic is a jaw dropping beautiful boy...and that's with a ratty, neglected coat, hairless patches and a bare ended tail...along with the sniffles. Magic entered the shelter suffering from flea dermatitis, after a few baths, his hair is starting to grow back and he is responding well to antibiotics in his foster home.

Magic is fine with other dogs and loves sleeping or just hanging out in his crate. He is rather reserved and takes time to warm up to new people but once he does, he is quite the charmer. We think Magic is about 2 years old. He has no discernible bad habits. He walks nicely on the leash and will easily hop into the back of the car for a ride. Once he gains some much needed weight, he will probably weigh in around 85-90 lbs. He's a big, big boy!

The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
