Madison has been adopted! 07-29-2007

Female about 0 old.

Molly & Madison are two 3 month old sisters. Okay, so they aren’t all shepherd, but they definitely want to be. These girls spent a lot of time tied out in the backyard and are a little unsure of walking on a leash, but that doesn’t keep them from being playful off the leash. They quickly discovered the joys of playtime. They get along with other dogs and absolutely love people. They will shower you with kisses.

In their former life, these sisters were outdoor puppies and never got a chance to experience “the Great Indoors,” after a day, they have already determined that they like being inside and where the action is. Surprisingly, they seem to understand going potty outside very quickly. Ideally, they would like a playmate since they’ve never been alone before.

Update from Madison's "Foster Mom":

Little Miss Madison is a quick learner and has already mastered sit and wait. She is required to sit patiently while her meal is prepared and also wait while it is presented to her!!! Madison loves to play and is a much gentler soul than her sister, Molly (who has her own wonderful qualities!). Madison goes to work with her foster mom every day (her foster mom owns a spa so she is learning about the "good" life!). She adores her foster sister, Phoebe and they play well together and also relax together!!! Madison is well on her way to being reliably housebroken too!

These puppies will do well with some puppy classes and a little TLC! They have plenty of love to give they just need someone to give it to!

The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
