Amber has been adopted! 07-21-2007

Female about 0 old.

Shell-shocked and frightened, this little lady needs a safe haven to recuperate.

Amber's family was forced to relinquish her to a county shelter after they lost their home in the wildfires. They had no where to go that would allow them to bring Amber with them. Amber sat in a very scary animals shelter waiting for her family to return---not knowing that they were not able to take her along. Thankfully, we were alerted to Amber's plight and brought in to safety.

Amber is just 7-8 months old and extremely frightened by all of the changes that have happened to her. She is rooming with Ruger and she loves having a buddy! Amber would probably do best in a home with another dog, so she can learn how to be a happy girl again! Amber has a jet black coat with brown ticking on her legs. Once she puts on some pounds and puts a smile back on her face, she will be a show stopper!

The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
