Diego has been adopted! 11-21-2007
Update 10/28/2007 Diego has latched on to his foster mom and follows her around everywhere she goes which has earned him the nickname "Shadow"! Diego is the typical GSD, he is very loving and wants to lie right next to his person or close as possible.
The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
Diego is doing really well in his foster home. He is learning a lot about life and working on his housebreaking. Everything is new to him and some what overwhelming at times. His foster mom thinks he would do really well in a household with another dog to show him the ropes. He’s learning how to play and hasn’t quite figured out what to do with toys yet, but his big sister is teaching him. He loves other dogs, saw a cat and ran away.
