Sam has been adopted! 09-27-2008
Sam is a goof ball with legs that are all akimbo (you should see him skid around hardwood floors when he is in full play mode!) and a very typical GS teenage boy. Sam loves, loves, loves water - his favorite trick is to 'scuba dive' into the big water pail and then artistically FLIP his head so that water hits everyone (the dog version of Gallagher with water instead of watermelon!)....because Sam likes this trick VERY much, he drinks most of his water outside the house :) Sam loves toys, loves to chase balls, loves a tug of war, loves the puppies that he is living with, loves the people, loves to get out in the front yard and see what is going on in the neighborhood, loves his crate....get the picture? This is a spectacular young fellow, a bit quirky but harmless and he is definitely full of endless entertainment!!!
The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
