Otis has been adopted! 05-04-2008

Female about 0 old.

Otis' family didn't make it very long. Adopted from a shelter as a mere baby, as he grew and gained more energy, his "family" wasn't interested in working with him or playing with him. This sweet boy was unceremoniously returned to the high kill shelter. One of our shelter scouts snuck him out because she couldn't bear to see him subjected to the same fate AGAIN....

At such a young age, Mr Otis can sit, walk on a leash and understands down too! He LOVES other dogs and is having a ball in his foster home. We know he lived with kids before and, at 6 mos, he has very typical puppy energy. Otis has some husky/shepherd and something else mixed in for good measure. He wants everyone to know he is a GREAT dog!

The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
