Cicely has been adopted! 03-30-2008

Female about 0 old.

Meet Lola and Cicely! These two youngsters were rescued by a good Samaritan who saw that they were living in filth and very neglected. Once they were in the safe hands of the good Samaritan, she contacted us for help in placing them. We were happy to help these two adorable, deserving girls find their "happy ever after" home.

Cicley is about 9 months old and was purchased as a 6 week old puppy. From what we understand, she was basically thrown in a backyard and ignored. She is now learning that people are great fun! She has come out of her shell immensely since arriving and is settling into being house dogs. Cicely is jet black and has the shiniest fur around! She loves other dogs and would probably be fine with a feline friend too.

While Lola and Cicely are sisters and litter-mates, they do not need to be adopted together. We would like to place them in homes with another dog though. Canine socialization is so important for puppies who haven't had the best upbringing!

The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
