Boss has been adopted! 04-06-2008

Female about 0 old.

We think Boss may have been very lonely for most of his 4 years, no one to teach him to play ball, no one to teach him to play tug-o-war, no other dog pals to hang out with. He had an owner and was an indoor dog at some point in the past but somewhere along the way they must not have had time to teach him the fun things about being a dog.

Boss will quietly hang out with his canine foster sisters he doesn’t quite seem to understand how to “play.” He’s housebroken, sleeps quietly in his crate all night, doesn’t jump on the furniture or arriving guests, he adores going for walks and loves nothing more than sitting at your feet waiting to see when you might have time to pet him some more. He is beautifully behaved and is a perfect "first dog" for someone.

We’re hoping someone will take the Boss-Man into their hearts and homes and teach him all the great things there are about being a dog - is that someone you?

The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
