Betsy has been adopted! 09-07-2008

Female about 0 old.

Betsy and her pal, a cocker spaniel, were dumped in a high kill shelter by their previous owner. The cocker was adopted immediately and Betsy faced the needle. Thankfully, we spirited her out and we have a wonderful, happy, loving girl for adoption. Betsy is a stout, rather petite gal - about 4 years old. We know she lived with kids in her previous life and at her first adoption event, she clearly demonstrated how much she loves children.

This is a delightful girl who clearly deserves a chance with a family that will cherish her for the rest of her days. She is silly and joyful. She is at a perfect age to blossom in a family that will love her and give her the life she so clearly deserves.

The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
