Naomi has been adopted! 07-03-2009

Female about 0 old.

Naomi or Mimi as she is affectionately called by her foster parents was used as a breeding dog and then dumped while pregnant. We aren't sure why, because she's as close to perfect as can be. Naomi delivered her pups in a foster home and has been an amazing mother. Her puppies are weaned and now she's looking for a home to call her own.

Naomi is estimated to be about 5 years old and has a wonderful disposition. She is mellow and gentle, but will never turn down a game of fetch. She's not a big fan of the pool and it drives her nuts when her foster brother jumps in after a ball she wants to fetch so bad!

She lives in a multi dog home and gets along with the 7lb Maltese as well as her Shepherd foster siblings. She also has 2 cats as roommates and doesn't even bat an eyelid as they stroll past or roll around lazily in front of her.

Naomi walks great on a leash and enjoys going for walks or riding in the car. She would make a wonderful family dog or companion.

The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
