Coastal German Shepherd Rescue

Dakota has been adopted! 12-20-2009

Female about 0 old.

Dakotah is beyond beautiful! When our volunteer arrived at the shelter in Los Angeles, all she knew was that she was picking up a female German Shepherd. When they walked out with Dakotah she thought they must have made a mistake! There was no way this 2 year old beauty ended up in a shelter! But luckily for us, she is safe and sound in our care now. Dakotah loves to ride in the car and would make an excellent partner in any sort of athletic activity. She adores two legged beings and is still cautious around four legged ones but we are working with her to ease her fear and become more of a social butterfly that we know is inside. She is currently in boarding and would really love to be in a home either as a foster or a permanent addition!

The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
