Enzo has been adopted! 01-04-2010
Enzo and his siblings were rescued from a high kill shelter at 6 weeks old. His family was forced to return him to Coastal due to time constraints and job demands. He is an intelligent dog that was quickly house-trained. He is not at all destructive (does not dig up the yard or chew on random items). He likes chew toys like smoky bones, bully sticks, etc, and doggie treats of course. His main diet is dry dog food and he is not fed by hand other than training treats. He has a sleeping bed and is a good sleeper throughout the night. He does not have anxiety about being alone. He's not a barker. He has constant contact with other dogs (dog parks etc) and is well-socialized with children of all ages. He loves to run in the park and fetch tennis balls.
The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
