Coastal German Shepherd Rescue

Blade has been adopted! 12-08-2013

Male German Shepherd Dog about 3-5 years old. Homes with no other dogs.

Blade is absolutely gorgeous and has the personality to match. Sadly, his previous adopter has serious health issues and could no longer care for Blade, who she adored and took great care of while they were together. Coastal leaves no one behind and we immediately took Blade into our safety net, promising to find him a home that will love and adore him just as much. He has his toys packed and is set to move in!

Blade is currently going through training classes with our volunteers. He's a quick study and food motivated, making him the perfect pupil. Although he would prefer a home with no other dogs, he doesn't show any aggression on walks or during training when surrounded by other dogs. Blade's great in the house, potty trained, walks well on a leash, knows his basic commands and then some, loves people and is ready to complete your family!

The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
