Kade has been adopted! 09-04-2010

Female about 0 old.

Looking for a running buddy? Training for the next marathon and want a tri-athlete to join you? If so, Kade may just be your boy! At just a year old, Kade (a gorgeous black and tan sable) is full of energy and would love a task and a challenge. He is a very typical sable with a ball drive and an active mind. Kade was rescued on his very last day at a county animal shelter. He had been found as a stray and his 4 day hold period was up. He was set to be euthanized, and we simply couldn't have that happen. Kade needs to find a foster or adoptive home quickly, as a boarding kennel is extremely tough on an active dog like Kade. Kade will excel at any type of training---obedience, agility, search and rescue, detection work....you name it. He appears to be very smart and very driven.

The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
