Juno is available ( Updated 10-16-2017 )
Juno is a small black German Shepherd who gave birth to seven puppies in the shelter. She and her pups moved to a foster home in August and now Juno and her babies (J litter) are ready to go to forever homes. Juno is very young and puppy-like herself. She loves to play and has been great with the foster's male GSD. She and the two female dogs in the home haven't always gotten along (though not necessarily Juno's fault) so a home with a male dog would be best. She would play all day long with her toys and the other dog if you let her and loves to explore the fosters' back yard. Everyday is an adventure with Juno.
Juno has not been exposed to small children or small animals. She has a bit of a prey drive so we recommend that she not go to a home with cats, small dogs, or birds.
The minimum adoption donation for adults is $300 and the adoption donation for puppies is $400 - $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
