Bacall has been adopted! 04-04-2017
Bacall is an adorable Silver and Black German Shepherd puppy.
A rescue reached out to us when she was just 4 days old. Her mom had died after giving birth and the person who had them didn't know how to care for bottle babies and the puppies started to die. Bacall and her brother Bogey were the only survivors out of 8. Very sad story, but they were strong and healthy.
Today Bacall loves to play with toys and other dogs. She would do fine with cats. Since she was raised by people, she has been well socialized with lots of activity.
She is crate and potty trained. She is starting to learn basic commands. Because she is very smart and medium-high energy, she will need someone with working dog experience or an early commitment to professional training to keep her from running the house.
Bacall loves to be snuggled and will make a terrific pet. She should mature around 60-90lb.
Her adoption fee is $500.
The minimum adoption donation for adults is $300 and the adoption donation for puppies is $400 - $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
