Sophie has been adopted! 04-14-2017

Female German Shepherd Dog about 6-9 years old. Good with kids. OK with cats. Gets along with other dogs.

Sophie was rescued from a shelter in horrible condition, but look at this gorgeous girl now! She was missing most of her hair, her feet were swollen and bloody, she had mange, bacterial infections and flea dermatitis, but has come a long way, baby. ❤

She's in a foster home and getting good care and lots of love. She's healed up like a champ and very sweet. Sophie doesn't ask for much, just a soft place to lay her head down, good food, and her daily walk to explore the outside world. She would love nothing more than to find a family who will adopt and love her forever!

The minimum adoption donation for adults is $300 and the adoption donation for puppies is $400 - $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
