Spirit has been adopted! 11-15-2009

Female about 0 old.

After two years Spirit's contract expired, and he was cut from the family team. Rumor has it that Spirit was left in a vacant field to become a stray agent. As sad as it seems, being drafted by Animal Control might have been a blessing compared to a career shortened by starvation or injury. Most importantly going to the shelter allowed Spirit to get spotted by the Coastal scouts. We know talent when we see it, so we didn’t waste a minute signing Spirit onto our GSD team.

With a name like "Spirit", you are probably thinking that this rookie is a wild and crazy guy. On the contrary, he is quite mellow and mannered. In fact his name was derived from his unfailing ability to trust after being struck out by the only team he knew. Spirit demonstrates the remarkable resilience of dogs to put the loses behind them and put on happy face.

Spirit gets along great with all of his canine teammates at Coastal. He especially loves to soak up affection from his two legged fans after completing a job well done. One look into those sad, "adopt me" eyes, and you will know that you found a winner.

YOU LOVE SPIRIT,

YOU KNOW YOU DO!

COME MEET HIM SATURDAY

AT PETSMART BY 3:00!

The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
