Rhett has been adopted! 08-20-2011

Female about 0 old.

An urgent plea was sent out regarding a female GSD who was going to be euthanized at a county shelter. We started to put our wheels into motion to get her rescued and then heard that she a friend too. We couldn't get the straight scoop as to whether they came into the shelter together or were just kenneled together but nonetheless we could not leave her friend Rhett behind. Jane and Rhett were rescued together and went into a foster home together. Thankfully this foster home saved their lives, as we truly had no place to put them!

We have learned that Rhett is a calm kinda guy, not bothered by anything and likes to spend his time relaxing. He is good with all animals--big and small. We think he is a Jindo/GSD mix. He is probably about 5 years old and a very easy going guy!

Rhett is housebroken and a very easy house guest.

The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
